8 Easy Projects to Make with One Quilt Block

Yes, that’s right, you don’t HAVE to make a quilt with your quilt blocks!   Here are a few ideas for other projects you can create with just ONE quilt block. If you have more than one, we’ve got you covered-click here for easy project ideas for 2 or more quilt blocks.

Projects for Just One Quilt Block

coaster

A quilt block is the perfect size for making a coaster to put under drinks on coffee tables-each one can be completely different, or make a matched set!  Click on the Coaster picture for a tutorial about how to turn a single quilt block into a cute little coaster.

Make 1 or 2 unique Christmas tree ornaments from a quilt block. Click on the Ornament picture for a video tutorial that can help you make the quilted part, but if you have a quilt, fast forward a little bit.  You’ll end up with a cute little tree shaped ornament!
